Requirements
- 8+ years in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
- Hands-on experience with full billing lifecycle (eligibility, prior auth, claims, denials, appeals).
- Expertise in both clinical services and DME billing.
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and major commercial payors.
- Fluency in X12 (835/837), HL7, and FHIR data standards.
- Experience with clearinghouses and practice management platforms.
- Track record of building RCM functions from scratch.
- Automation-first mindset with experience in AI/ML tools for billing.
- Comfortable collaborating with engineering on API integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement RCM infrastructure including eligibility verification, prior authorization, and claims submission.
- Architect a digital-first, automated revenue cycle for clinical and DME services.
- Integrate clearinghouses, EHR/practice management systems, and payer APIs.
- Define Clean Claim baseline and documentation standards.
- Automate prior auth, clinical documentation, and denial management using AI/ML.
- Define and instrument core RCM KPIs including first-pass resolution and days in AR.
- Serve as internal subject matter expert on payor policy and regulatory changes.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Recruit and lead a high-performing RCM team.
