Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time experience in risk management at a fintech company.
- Experience with industry fraud prevention tools and technology.
- Experience building scalable, technology-enabled risk operations in a high-growth environment.
- Strong intuition for balancing automation, controls, and customer experience.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and key stakeholders.
- Capable leader with a passion for developing high performance teams.
- Strong collaboration skills with technical teams (engineering, data & product).
- Track record of facilitating a data-driven culture.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team responsible for protecting Shakepay's platform and customers from fraud, abuse, and financial risk.
- Own workload management within fraud operations, team capacity and roadmap planning.
- Partner closely with data science to develop scalable detection systems and risk decisioning strategies.
- Drive the risk management technology strategy by partnering with engineering and design.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Scale fraud operations by breaking down silos across financial services products.
- Champion improvements to the user experience around fraud and security controls.
- Oversee the management of vendor relationships.
- Create accountability within the team and build a performance-oriented culture.
