Requirements
- 4+ years of leadership experience in gaming production, game project management, or software development.
- Experience building long-term, trust-based client relationships.
- 4+ years of project management experience including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban.
- Experience as a key leader for a project with 5+ members and $200K+ budget.
- Experience using task tracking and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, ADO, Excel, Miro, Figma, Trello).
- Understanding of cross-discipline workflows (art, engineering, design, QA, animation).
- Experience managing scope, resource allocations, financials, and writing contracts.
- Experience supporting and growing medium-sized teams of 5 or more people.
- Demonstrated ability to foster open communication and cross-discipline collaboration.
- Experience managing morale and supporting healthy work habits.
Responsibilities
- Lead software developers, designers, artists, animators and testers in a co-development fashion.
- Proactively manage and reduce project risks throughout production.
- Create roadmaps and task breakdowns while keeping client stakeholders updated.
- Forecast project costs, maintain financials and coordinate invoicing.
- Coach, mentor and grow your team via regular 1-on-1s and performance reviews.
- Evaluate priorities, staffing and resources, adjusting strategies to changing requirements.
- Provide project visibility through presentations to leadership and clients.
- Playtest games and provide feedback to internal teams.
- Maintain strong ownership of project outcomes.
- Contribute to studio-wide process improvements.
