Requirements
- 5+ years experience of Product Management or Engineering in network-related areas
- Practitioner-level knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, BGP, SNMP, Streaming Telemetry, and Network Flow Monitoring
- Comfortable navigating distributed systems, API management and Software Agents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional orchestration
- Well versed in Engineering and Operational best practices for Service Provider and Enterprise networks
- Ability to drive projects independently
- Creative mindset with prototyping experience (SQL, code, or data analysis)
Responsibilities
- Understand and map out platform requirements from both Customers and Product Managers
- Define and execute the roadmap for platform features
- Act as Product Management’s main liaison with Platform engineering
- Roadmap and orchestrate the development of new features
- Further define and strengthen Kentik’s API first strategy
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to productize OnPrem vs SaaS deployments
- Own the strategy, lifecycle and roadmap for all telemetry agents
- Extend platform capabilities in topology, event management, and telemetry enrichment
