Requirements
- Must be proficient in Buildxact.
- Proven experience in estimating and/or project management within construction or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in estimating and project management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and detailed take-offs based on project plans and specifications.
- Analyze drawings, materials, labor, and time requirements to develop competitive bids.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and proposals.
- Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from award to completion.
- Develop project timelines, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
- Track project progress, costs, and performance against budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Handle change orders, variations, and contract administration.
