Requirements
- 10 years of experience leading applied technology initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or STEM field.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills with high emotional intelligence (EQ).
- Strong passion for applied Quantum Mechanics.
- Masters or PhD in a STEM field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales or equivalent (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or other quantum computing SDKs (preferred).
- Proficient in Python and Jupyter Notebooks (preferred).
- Expert architecture skills across various technologies (preferred).
- Experience leading technical events (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Inspire prospective clients by explaining IonQ’s strategy and portfolio.
- Lead client discussions to identify quantum application opportunities.
- Map Quantum Algorithms (e.g. QAOA, HHL, Grover’s, QFT, VQE) into application code.
- Execute Proof-of-Concepts with the Application Engineering team.
- Translate client business needs into technical proposals.
- Create sales assets to explain quantum features and products.
- Lead client workshops to inspire new use case ideas.
- Attend industry conferences to support sales and booth activities.
