- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (completed VTNE)
- At least two years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine
- Comfortable navigating multiple computer programs and online platforms
- Clearly articulate medical information verbally and in writing
- Manage priorities and tasks effectively with minimal supervision
- Maintain a quiet, distraction-free workspace
- Meet internet requirements: >100mb_down, >100mb_up, <10ms latency
Responsibilities
- Engage with members via chat, phone, and video, providing support and education on their pets’ health and well-being
- Triage cases based on veterinary knowledge, offering recommendations and ensuring accurate information
- Review medical records to understand patient history and provide informed guidance
- Document clearly and accurately in patient records using veterinary terminology
- Verify and process prescriptions, ensuring appropriate follow-up for client requests
- Deliver top-tier client care with empathy and warmth
- Follow protocols, maintaining consistency while adjusting to each unique case
- Collaborate cross-functionally, providing feedback to improve processes and systems
