Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive experience in business development or enterprise sales within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable business impact and exceeding aggressive revenue or partnership targets.
  • Strong understanding of AI applications in biomedical research, clinical development, diagnostics, biomarker discovery, and healthcare innovation.
  • Familiarity with SaaS and software business models, ideally within technology-driven or AI-focused environments.
  • Deep knowledge of the biomedical ecosystem, including biomedical data lifecycle management and pharmaceutical R&D processes in the US and Europe.
  • Established professional network within pharmaceutical and biotech organizations, particularly within large-scale R&D environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and multicultural environments with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience in a venture-backed or high-growth startup environment is highly valued.
  • PhD or advanced expertise in Biology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related disciplines is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Define and influence go-to-market strategies to position advanced AI-driven products and scientific solutions effectively within the biopharma and healthcare ecosystem.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech organizations, research institutions, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue generation initiatives by achieving and exceeding business development targets while monitoring sales performance and market trends.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders to expand commercial opportunities and strengthen market presence.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, and executive meetings, delivering compelling presentations and business proposals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, R&D, marketing, and leadership teams to align commercial priorities with scientific and operational objectives.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making by identifying market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends in AI, biotechnology, and life sciences.
