Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales leadership experience managing distributed or remote sales teams.
  • Proven success leading teams of 5 or more sales professionals.
  • Strong experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a player-coach in complex sales cycles.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Success.
  • Familiarity with both transactional and solution-based sales approaches.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25–30%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives and sales support professionals.
  • Operate as a player-coach by directly participating in customer meetings, strategic negotiations, and high-value sales opportunities.
  • Drive sales performance through ongoing mentorship and performance management.
  • Manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, KPI tracking, and territory execution.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Success to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Build relationships with customers, instructors, and channel partners.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and trade shows.
