Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in proposal management, sales operations, or sales enablement environments
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership or people management experience
  • Strong expertise with proposal management and RFP platforms such as RFPIO/Responsive, Loopio, or similar technologies
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience implementing AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or automation platforms within sales workflows
  • Excellent writing, editing, and messaging skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics
  • Proven project management and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to lead process optimization initiatives
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing proposal operations and RFP management team with clear productivity benchmarks and quality standards.
  • Design and implement scalable, SLA-driven proposal workflows that improve efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Optimize proposal content management systems and AI-enabled automation tools to improve content accuracy, utilization, and operational effectiveness.
  • Develop and monitor advanced proposal analytics, including win rates, cycle times, content effectiveness, and competitive positioning metrics.
  • Create operational dashboards and reporting frameworks to provide leadership visibility into team performance, pipeline health, and proposal outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, and Customer Intelligence teams to strengthen pursuit strategies and execution alignment.
  • Establish governance frameworks, quality assurance standards, and accountability processes for high-priority sales opportunities.
  • Lead operational reviews, win/loss analyses, and performance optimization initiatives to continuously refine sales support strategies.
  • Oversee resource planning, forecasting, prioritization, and escalation management to align operational capacity with revenue growth targets.
  • Leverage market intelligence and competitive insights to strengthen messaging strategies and improve proposal effectiveness.
