Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5 years proven success in solution-based selling
  • Experience in Hyperscale built-to-suit data center, powered shell, or pre-lease data center space
  • Deep understanding of high-density data center solutions
  • Prior Hyperscale Account Management experience in data center vertical
  • Proven track record of building business strategy and partner enablement
  • Successful business development and sales experience with Hyperscale Providers
  • Disciplined in the use of a CRM for forecasting and sales activity tracking
  • Technical understanding of Data Center Infrastructure, High density compute, Networking, and Cloud connectivity
  • Articulate with demonstrated consultative capability
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Successfully prospect new opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy
  • Account Planning, revenue forecasting and opportunity management for existing Hyperscale customers
  • Leverage sales through partnerships (indirect channel, referrals, carrier relationships)
  • Participate in trade shows and hyperscale focused networking events
  • Build and implement account and marketing plans
  • Build relationships with management levels within the Hyperscale accounts
  • Document and maintain customer contact plans and contract progress
