Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 5 years proven success in solution-based selling
- Experience in Hyperscale built-to-suit data center, powered shell, or pre-lease data center space
- Deep understanding of high-density data center solutions
- Prior Hyperscale Account Management experience in data center vertical
- Proven track record of building business strategy and partner enablement
- Successful business development and sales experience with Hyperscale Providers
- Disciplined in the use of a CRM for forecasting and sales activity tracking
- Technical understanding of Data Center Infrastructure, High density compute, Networking, and Cloud connectivity
- Articulate with demonstrated consultative capability
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Successfully prospect new opportunities
- Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy
- Account Planning, revenue forecasting and opportunity management for existing Hyperscale customers
- Leverage sales through partnerships (indirect channel, referrals, carrier relationships)
- Participate in trade shows and hyperscale focused networking events
- Build and implement account and marketing plans
- Build relationships with management levels within the Hyperscale accounts
- Document and maintain customer contact plans and contract progress
