Requirements
- 7+ years of project management experience in distributed energy systems (solar, BESS, fuel cells, microgrids) and turnkey EPC delivery.
- Demonstrated ownership mentality for turnkey EPC project performance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of development, permitting, contracting, and procurement.
- Proven experience leading RFP development, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Strong financial management capabilities including budget control and change order negotiation.
- Expertise navigating AHJ permitting processes and utility interconnection requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Procore.
- Highly effective in remote work environments with distributed teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, manufacturing, commissioning, and customer stakeholders.
- Lead concurrent turnkey power generation projects and oversee third-party developed equipment sales.
- Manage permitting and utility interconnection processes across multiple municipalities.
- Execute projects safely, eliminating scope gaps, on schedule, and within budget.
- Manage critical path schedule and mitigate technical, procurement, and construction risks.
- Oversee contract administration, bid packaging, subcontractor management, and change order negotiation.
- Drive cost control initiatives to meet and improve project margin targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site visits and job walks with up to 15% travel.
