Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant administrative support experience, ideally within a healthcare setting or a regulated environment. A foundational understanding of data entry, documentation, and administrative workflows is highly valued.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to collective success, and capable of managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to managing documentation and data. Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in healthcare credentialing standards and compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in data and documentation.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving administrative workflows and data management practices.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders (licensing boards, payers, providers).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, CRM/support software, and comfortable learning new EHR/credentialing management tools.
- Passion for Finni’s mission to democratize autism care and empower providers through efficient administrative and credentialing processes.
- Comfortable thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, embracing change, and navigating ambiguity with a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process for Finni Health providers. This includes managing applications, conducting primary source verification, and maintaining the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards. Serve as a key point of contact for providers and external entities (licensing boards, payers, etc.) for credentialing-related inquiries and processes.
- Assist with the provider privileging process by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating the credentialing components of new provider onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.
- Support the generation of credentialing reports, proactively identify and help resolve credentialing issues, and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.
- As Finni Health grows and evolves, the responsibilities of this role may adapt and change to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
