Requirements
- Experience building or operating secure remote access systems (VPN, ZTNA, PAM).
- Direct experience in OT/ICS environments (energy, manufacturing, defense, etc.).
- Strong systems programming in Go, Rust, or comparable languages.
- Deep understanding of networking (TCP/IP, TLS, firewalls).
- Proficiency in identity management (SAML, OIDC, PKI).
- Familiarity with Purdue Model and IT/OT DMZ design patterns.
- Working knowledge of OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC-UA, EtherNet/IP).
- High ownership and end-to-end accountability mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve secure remote access capabilities for OT platforms.
- Implement backend services across distributed architecture with OT-safe patterns.
- Build and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for policy and access management.
- Enforce zero-trust principles, session recording, and audit logging.
- Integrate with industrial protocols and OT assets (PLCs, RTUs, HMIs).
- Define technical direction and architecture (Staff/Principal).
- Mentor engineering team and support scaling (Staff/Principal).
