Requirements
- Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and deliver quality products within agreed upon timeframes, with limited supervision.
- Experience with the California Community College system and/or Workforce Development preferred.
- Ability to research, analyze, synthesize, and communicate complex topics to a variety of internal and external audiences, in a variety of formats (e.g. toolkits, reports, graphic displays, presentations).
- Experience with project and client management software (e.g., Asana, Salesforce) preferred.
- Experience with Excel required.
- Experience with grants administration from a funder's perspective.
- Familiarity with state and federal funding.
- Willingness to engage in constructive discussion (including disagreement) and keep a good sense of humor.
- A customer service mindset.
- Possession of a valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, automobile insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle is required.
Responsibilities
- Provides oversight of assigned awardees and projects, which may include negotiating contract scopes and budgets, reviewing invoices, monitoring fiscal and program compliance and performance, and providing one-on-support for awardees.
- Leads program reporting and award management activities for assigned awardees and projects, including providing guidance to awardees, reviewing reports, summarizing data, and ensuring alignment with related guidance and regulations.
- Tracks project/award specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), business development relationships, and may develop and coordinate funding application processes in collaboration with Senior Specialist
