- 5+ years of experience in B2C event sponsorship sales
- A strong list of direct client and agency contacts
- Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential to effectively deliver proposals and run client meetings
- An entrepreneurial can-do attitude
- Comfortable in ambiguity - working through things for the first time
- Ability to think creatively and make data-driven decisions
- Skilled in crafting slide decks and written pitch materials
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Work closely with various departments within the organization, such as marketing, sales, and event operations, to pool internal resources and develop winning sponsorship proposals.
- Develop strategic partnerships: Identify and engage potential sponsors to establish long-term relationships.
- Craft compelling sponsorship packages that align with sponsor objectives and deliver mutual benefits.
- Maximize revenue potential: Drive revenue growth by implementing effective sponsorship strategies, negotiating favorable deals, and leveraging existing sponsor relationships. Constantly seek opportunities to upsell and expand sponsorship portfolios.
- Ensure successful delivery: Oversee the execution of sponsorship agreements, ensuring all commitments are met in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate with internal teams to deliver sponsor benefits, activations, and experiential opportunities.
- Monitor sponsor satisfaction: Proactively communicate with sponsors to gather feedback, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships. Regularly evaluate sponsorship performance and provide reports on ROI and deliverables
