Requirements

  • Based in Latin America, with full professional fluency in Spanish and English.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR / People & Culture experience, with at least 3–5 years leading a team.
  • Proven success leading the People function in a professional services, IT services, or technology consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing both full-time employees and a contract/contingent workforce at scale.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. HR compliance (federal and multi-state) alongside LATAM labor frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience optimizing an HRIS (BambooHR or comparable), an LMS (Coursera or comparable), and ticketing tools (Jira or comparable) for HR service delivery.
  • Track record of building culture and engagement in a distributed, multicultural, and multilingual environment.
  • Executive presence, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence at the C-suite level.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, VP of Delivery and Engineering, and broader Executive Team on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, and culture.
  • Build and execute the multi-year People & Culture strategy aligned with CodeRoad's growth plans, including AI-driven service evolution.
  • Lead, coach, and grow the People & Culture team, modeling our values and raising the bar on team performance.
  • Own talent strategy and operations across both full-time employees and a sizable contract/nearshore delivery workforce, ensuring consistent experience, governance, and quality across engagement models.
  • Drive performance management, career frameworks, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Lead HR compliance across LATAM jurisdictions and the United States, partnering with legal and finance on labor law, contractor classification, immigration, and policy.
  • Own compensation philosophy, benefits, and recognition programs that are competitive and equitable across geographies.
  • Operate and continuously improve our People tech stack: BambooHR (HRIS), Coursera (learning), and Jira (ticketing/HR service delivery), with a clear point of view on how AI can elevate the employee experience.
  • Translate our core values: Excellence, Passion, Connection, People First, and Innovation, into rituals, programs, and decisions that employees and contractors feel every day.
  • Design and run listening, recognition, and engagement programs across a distributed, multilingual workforce.
