Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience related to emotional wellbeing, executive functioning, and/or mental health (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology, or wellbeing coaching).
  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent work experience in an associated field is required.
  • Experience and comfort providing video coaching in an EHR platform and corresponding with students via phone, chat, and email.
  • Willingness to apply behaviorally focused (e.g., SMART goals) and evidenced-based techniques to support mental health and wellbeing (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy).
  • Highly collaborative and excited about joining a growing company.
  • Comfort following safety protocols to refer students who need a higher level of care to our care navigation and/or clinical teams when needed.
  • Strong technical and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about serving young adults and college students of all ages and backgrounds (including non-traditional students).
  • Comfortable working independently to serve students in need of coaching services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional wellbeing and executive functioning coaching services to college students.
  • Maintain timely and appropriate documentation of coaching services provided and adherence to all documentation and communication protocols.
  • Recognize students in need of clinical or crisis care and follow established protocols to connect students to the appropriate resource.
