Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, particularly in Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
  • Workday certification in relevant modules (Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking) preferred.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end Workday solution delivery in a global, multi-country environment.
  • Solid understanding of Workday business processes, security frameworks, and HR system architecture.
  • Experience with Workday tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Report Writer, and Business Processes.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance, audit requirements, and enterprise governance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while influencing cross-functional and global teams across time zones.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules to meet complex global business requirements.
  • Lead full-cycle Workday solution delivery, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Perform impact analysis for Workday biannual releases (R1 & R2) and implement relevant enhancements.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring system accuracy, reliability, and quality assurance.
  • Provide expert guidance on Workday best practices, system optimization, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data integrity across HR systems.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, and processes for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Participate in Agile sprint cycles and contribute to continuous delivery improvements.
  • Evaluate and implement new Workday features to enhance system capabilities and user experience.
