Requirements
- 8–12 years of overall experience in software testing, with at least 5+ years in test automation and proven experience in leading automation initiatives.
- Strong hands-on expertise in modern automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Solid programming or scripting skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for building and maintaining automation solutions.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and techniques, including GenAI for test design, script generation, or test optimization.
- Good understanding of CI/CD tools and practices, including Azure DevOps or Jenkins, along with Git and reporting/dashboarding tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Own and define the overall test automation strategy for system and integration testing, including what to automate and how to optimize coverage and efficiency.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Playwright), ensuring long-term maintainability across projects.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable smoke, sanity, and regression testing with clear and actionable reporting.
- Leverage AI-driven testing approaches to improve test design, scripting efficiency, test data creation, and result analysis.
- Lead, mentor, and guide testing teams, reviewing automation work and driving adherence to best practices, standards, and coding guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
