Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare engagement.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with rare disease experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in virtual sales or remote customer engagement required.
  • Strong clinical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex scientific and therapeutic information.
  • Excellent verbal communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills in a virtual environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency and ability to engage customers across multiple digital and phone-based channels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and perform in a performance-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Engage healthcare professionals through virtual channels to increase disease awareness, identify potential patients, and support therapy initiation.
  • Collaborate with field teams to expand access, coordinate outreach strategies, and strengthen account-level engagement.
  • Deliver clear, accurate, and compelling product and disease-state education aligned with brand messaging and compliance guidelines.
  • Manage daily sales call activity to optimize reach, productivity, and achievement of sales and market share objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers through effective communication and rapport-building.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, follow-up actions, and insights in accordance with compliance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve access, demand generation, and stakeholder engagement through proactive outreach and networking.
