Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program
- PMHNP-BC certification
- At least one year of independent psychiatric experience working under licensure
- Active license in PA, VA, NJ, or MD
- DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority
- Flexibility to work during core after-school hours (after 4pm ET) and/or weekends
- Experience working with children and adolescents as a PMHNP
- Practiced independently at the top of your scope for at least one year
- Proficient in Google Suite, EMR systems, and virtual platforms for telehealth
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric intake evaluations and treatment planning for children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Connect patients to the right ongoing care from the very start of their journey.
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for the 2–26 age range.
- Establish a strong clinical foundation for each patient's care journey.
- Collaborate with therapists to develop individualized treatment plans that address the root cause of behavior.
- Ensure patients are matched to the right ongoing provider.
- Educate parents and caregivers during the intake process, helping them understand their child's diagnosis and navigate next steps.
- Oversee diagnostic testing and maintain thorough, HIPAA-compliant intake documentation.
