Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- PMHNP-BC certification.
- At least one year of independent psychiatric experience working under licensure.
- Active license in PA, VA, NJ, or MD (OR a current license in another state and a willingness to obtain these via Blackbird sponsorship).
- DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority.
- Flexibility to work during core after-school hours (after 4 pm ET) and/or weekends.
- Proficient in Google Suite, EMR systems, and virtual platforms for telehealth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and medication management for the 2–26 age range.
- Work with therapists to create treatment plans that address the root cause of behavior.
- Educate parents and caregivers, helping them navigate their child’s mental health journey.
- Oversee diagnostic testing and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
