Requirements
- Built a sales function from the ground up (process, systems, team) at a company where the founder previously handled sales.
- Sells with warmth and integrity, converting relationships into pipeline without being transactional.
- Managed partnerships and affiliate programs as a primary growth channel.
- Personally closed business and managed a quota-carrying representative, able to switch between roles.
- Proficient with sales metrics (pipeline math, conversion rates, close rates, cohort behavior) and uses data for coaching.
- Comfortable with early-stage ambiguity: building, breaking, and rebuilding systems.
- Strong written communication skills and a strong listener.
- Cares about the modern family and Sage Haus's work.
- Previous experience as a top-performing Account Executive or sales lead at an early-stage business.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales motion — inbound, outbound, partnerships, and B2B — and partner closely with the founder on go-to-market strategy.
- Personally take prospect calls and close business, while also setting the strategy, building the systems, and managing our existing sales strategist.
- Manage inbound and outbound lead pipelines through nurture, info call, proposal, and close.
- Manage Sage Haus's full slate of partnerships and affiliates, negotiating agreements and building a repeatable partnerships motion.
- Manage our Sales Strategist, including 1:1s, deal coaching, and quota management, and hire/grow the sales function.
- Manage the metrics and data around sales funnel conversions and work closely with marketing on top-of-funnel metrics.
- Build Sage Haus's B2B sales strategy from the ground up, including ICP, offer, pricing, and motion.
- Partner closely with the founder on go-to-market sales strategy for the Home Systems App.
- Partner with leadership and operations on implementing a customer engagement platform.
