Requirements
- 4-6 years of analytics experience in SaaS or software companies supporting business growth or operations.
- Advanced SQL: can independently extract, join, and validate data from multiple sources without guidance.
- Expert-level Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and comfortable with datasets of 50K+ rows.
- Ability to translate complex analyses into clear narratives for executives, sales, and product teams.
- Experience analyzing customer data (cohorts, retention, churn) or pricing and commercial analytics.
- Intellectual honesty: validate assumptions before presenting conclusions and adjust recommendations when data contradicts your position.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytical narratives for 2-3 strategic initiatives per quarter, establishing KPIs and recommending optimizations based on performance data.
- Investigate revenue or retention anomalies by synthesizing customer journey data and operational metrics, then deliver findings with prioritized hypotheses within one week.
- Build and own 4-6 recurring dashboards and reports for leadership business reviews, ensuring data accuracy and presentation clarity.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify expansion and retention opportunities through cohort analysis and customer segmentation.
- Develop pricing and packaging business cases by analyzing deal performance, discounts, and acquisition costs by segment.
- Improve data infrastructure by identifying reporting gaps, building validation processes, and systematizing repeatable analyses.
