Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in finance systems analysis, implementation, and support, preferably in enterprise environments.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12, with strong focus on financial modules.
  • Strong functional expertise in Oracle GL, including chart of accounts, multi-entity setups, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Ability to write and execute ad-hoc Oracle SQL queries.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, SOX compliance, and general business processes.
  • Solid technical understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and data structures.
  • Proven project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with Finance stakeholders and translate them into system solutions.
  • Design and deliver process improvements, system enhancements, and Oracle EBS upgrade initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on technical and functional support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and Oracle Support coordination.
  • Support financial close processes, including reconciliations, ledger balancing, FSG reporting, and period close activities.
  • Develop and execute test plans, including unit, system, and regression testing in collaboration with end users and developers.
  • Maintain and enhance integrations between Oracle EBS and external systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Support SOX compliance efforts by partnering with GRC teams to define, test, and document application controls.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial and accounting processes in collaboration with Finance leadership.
  • Act as a key liaison between Finance and IT teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication of system initiatives.
