Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in IT Operations, SaaS Operations, DevOps, or equivalent.
- Strong scripting and automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash or equivalent).
- Experience working with Azure Functions, popular IDEs, APIs, automation frameworks, and integration platforms.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, OAuth-based integrations, and webhook-driven workflows.
- Strong experience with IAM concepts: SSO, SAML, OAuth, SCIM, RBAC, and user lifecycle automation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and serverless infrastructure automation.
- Working experience on key platforms: Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft 365, HRIS, Finance, and Atlassian tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins to schedule and orchestrate automation jobs.
- Experience managing automation code/scripts in GitHub or equivalent version-control platforms.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data synchronisation, and pipeline automation.
- Ability to use AI tooling (OpenAI, Gemini, Copilot) to accelerate development, analysis, and solutions.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex technical workflows and automating manual tasks at scale.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with an ability to work across multiple systems and contexts.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Integrate newly procured SaaS tools with SSO/IDP platforms (PingOne or equivalent).
- Automate user onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle provisioning across multiple SaaS applications.
- Implement SCIM/REST-based workflows for role-based access management.
- Develop automation scripts, utilities, and microservices using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
- Develop and manage serverless infrastructure automation with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Schedule, orchestrate, and monitor automation jobs using Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Maintain script and code repositories in GitHub (or equivalent), following branching strategies, version control best practices, and secure coding standards.
- Leverage Appfire’s AI toolset (OpenAI, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, etc.) and MCP services in the market to innovate, optimise, and accelerate IT operations.
- Identify opportunities where AI/ML or LLM-based automation can improve productivity and data quality.
- Build AI-assisted utilities and workflows for IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain integrations across systems such as Workday, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Coupa, NetSuite, Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, and other tools.
- Develop and maintain reliable ETL pipelines, ensuring data consistency and hygiene.
- Automate data movement into centralised asset management and operational control systems.
- Automate reports related to SaaS usage, access logs, compliance/audits, and asset management.
- Enable real-time analytics and dashboarding by connecting multiple data sources through APIs.
- Work with IT specialists, DevOps engineers, security, HRIS, and finance teams to automate processes.
- Document system architectures, data flows, automation logic, and operational runbooks.
- Explore new technologies, modern IT operations practices, and emerging tooling—and drive adoption within IT.
