Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL (including JSONB)
- Experience with Sidekiq or similar background job systems
- Proven ability to balance project management and development work
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience in data pipelines, ETL processes, or lead generation systems
- Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, and remote team workflows
- Experience working with distributed or international teams
Responsibilities
- Lead daily standups and team coordination
- Translate requirements into clear, actionable tasks (ClickUp)
- Maintain documentation and ensure delivery timelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders across a remote, global team
- Contribute to Ruby on Rails codebase (bug fixes, improvements)
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries and data handling (JSONB)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Own roadmap for data ingestion and processing
- Ensure accurate mapping of new data sources
- Oversee transformation of raw data into high-value leads
- Monitor Sidekiq queues and job processing
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines
- Implement long-term fixes to prevent recurring issues
- Ensure normalization and validation of scraped data
- Maintain high-quality, client-ready outputs (especially for law firms)
