Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using React, Python, Django, and MySQL.
- Design and implement new features and enhancements to improve product usability, performance, and productivity.
- Ensure all development aligns with established architecture and design guidelines.
- Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of OpenSolar’s Design Tool and related systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and bugs reported by users or internal teams, ensuring timely, high-quality fixes.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing technical support during incidents to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Conduct root cause analyses to prevent recurring issues and maintain software quality standards.
- Estimate, plan, and execute technical tasks related to bug fixes, minor enhancements, and maintenance projects.
- Proactively enhance internal tools, monitoring systems, and support processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage testing, deployment, and release processes for system updates.
- Follow and promote secure software development best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with senior developers and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
