Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting or industry roles within Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods environments
  • Deep understanding of retail economics, including pricing, promotions, sell-through, GMROI, and assortment optimization
  • Strong knowledge of omnichannel retail dynamics, including eCommerce, store operations, and fulfillment trade-offs
  • Familiarity with enterprise retail systems such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or Kinaxis
  • Proven ability to translate analytics and AI insights into real business adoption and measurable outcomes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior executives and bridge technical and business teams
  • Experience working with AI/ML, data analytics, or decision science approaches in retail/CPG environments is highly valued
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Develop Retail and CPG thought leadership, identifying high-impact AI use cases such as pricing optimization, assortment strategy, and inventory planning, and translating them into scalable solutions and intellectual property
  • Lead end-to-end client engagements, from problem framing and economic modeling through solution design, deployment, and adoption across enterprise environments
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, including Chief Merchants, Chief Digital Officers, and Supply Chain leaders, ensuring recommendations are grounded in retail economics and operational realities
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to design and deploy AI-enabled decision systems across merchandising, pricing, supply chain, and customer experience domains
  • Drive operationalization of insights by embedding analytics into business workflows, decision processes, and performance management cadences
  • Support business development efforts through solution shaping, client advisory, and industry thought leadership contributions
  • Mentor internal team members and help strengthen client relationships through strategic guidance and expertise sharing
