Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in employee benefits, group insurance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans.
  • Experience working with insurance carriers and third-party vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Life & Health insurance license or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations such as ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA is a plus.
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong focus on client service and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing service needs for assigned employee benefits clients, ensuring timely and accurate support.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, resolving issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Support renewal processes, including data collection, reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with open enrollment planning and execution, including employee communications and presentations.
  • Prepare client-facing materials such as benefit summaries, guides, and reports.
  • Liaise with insurance carriers and vendors to resolve eligibility, billing, and claims-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Contribute to client retention efforts by delivering proactive, high-quality service.
