Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years in compliance, audit, or risk management
- Proficiency with compliance monitoring and reporting tools
- Knowledge of at least one regulatory framework (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or similar (ideal)
- Experience in finance, healthcare, SaaS, or regulated industries (ideal)
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000) (ideal)
- Experience leading compliance training and building reporting dashboards (ideal)
- Expert at balancing compliance requirements with operational practicality
- Strong investigative and analytical skills
- Trusted communicator across technical and non-technical teams
- Proactive in identifying risks before they become issues
Responsibilities
- Draft, update, and enforce compliance policies across departments.
- Conduct risk assessments across business units to identify exposure and recommend controls.
- Implement compliance monitoring programs and conduct regular internal audits.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on compliance obligations.
- Conduct internal investigations into compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver compliance dashboards, monthly/quarterly reports, and risk summaries to executives and boards.
- Partner with finance, legal, HR, and IT to integrate compliance into business processes.
- Review and update compliance policies to reflect changes in laws or internal operations.
- Monitor controls and run audits across departments to test adherence.
