Requirements
- Fundierte Berufserfahrung im Data Engineering
- Souveränität in SQL
- Tiefes Verständnis für DWH- und DLH-Architekturen (inkl. Formaten wie Iceberg, Delta, Hudi)
- Praxisnahe Plattform-Expertise mit Google BigQuery, Snowflake oder Microsoft Fabric/Synapse
- Routine in der Datenmodellierung (z. B. mit dbt oder Dataform)
- Praktische Erfahrung in der Anwendung gängiger BI-Tools (PowerBI, Looker oder Tableau)
- Kommunikationsstarkes Consulting, fähig komplexe Architekturen zu präsentieren
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in mindestens einem der großen Hyperscaler (AWS, Google Cloud oder Microsoft Azure)
- Erste Erfahrung mit Python (idealerweise)
- Zertifizierungen im Data-Bereich (z. B. Snowflake, GCP oder Azure Data Engineer) oder Interesse daran diese zu erwerben
- Erfahrung mit DevOps-Prinzipien und CI/CD im Datenumfeld (wertvolles Plus)
Responsibilities
- Design and architect modern, highly scalable Data Warehouse and Lakehouse solutions across all Hyperscalers.
- Develop robust ETL/ELT processes and intelligent Data Pipelines to seamlessly connect diverse data sources.
- Build data models and transformations using modern tools like dbt or Dataform.
- Analyze stakeholder needs and provide performant data structures for BI and Analytics use-cases.
- Evaluate and select appropriate data technologies for clients, following a best-of-breed approach.
- Mentor Junior/Mid-Level Engineers and actively shape data governance and best practices within the team.
