Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project management or consulting roles, ideally within complex infrastructure or data center environments
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong technical expertise in physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection design
- Proven experience producing detailed engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, and design deliverables
- Ability to manage external consultants and oversee technical work from concept through completion
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with multiple concurrent projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam, or project management platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize critical path activities effectively
- Ability to travel up to 25% and meet security screening requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead physical security design efforts across multiple data center projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, technical standards, and project timelines
- Oversee the full lifecycle of security system design, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related infrastructure solutions
- Manage and coordinate external consultants, reviewing and validating all design deliverables for accuracy, compliance, and quality
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and critical deliverables while ensuring effective execution of security design objectives
- Conduct site evaluations, define functional security requirements, and translate them into detailed engineering design documentation
- Participate in the development and evolution of security design standards, templates, and scalable design frameworks
- Provide subject matter expertise in project meetings, client discussions, and stakeholder engagements to guide decision-making and resolve issues
- Conduct quality assurance reviews, on-site inspections, and final acceptance testing to ensure system performance and compliance
