Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management or first responder fields
- Proven record of personnel management experience such as recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers
- Proficient with technology tools and in remote working for communicating and coordinating with a large network of TR staff members, Greyshirts (volunteers) and external stakeholders
- Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired
- Ability to travel at least 25% non-local to support broader organizational activities focused within the assigned territory
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe, efficient, and impactful delivery of Team Rubicon services
- Ensure the development and maintenance of rapport and influence with external stakeholders
- Develop team performance goals and objectives while mentoring direct reports and managers on performance management
- Assist with planning and budgeting in accordance with approved training, engagement, and operational tempo
- Oversee purchasing and expenses in accordance with the National budget
- Oversee and assess efforts to recruit, engage and train Greyshirts and Greyshirt leaders in accordance with organizational objectives
- Provide EOC support and disaster response coordination across relevant agencies, as needed
