Job Details

6+ years building production-ready frontend code in complex, component-driven applications
Deep expertise in TypeScript
Deep expertise in React
Deep expertise in modern CSS (Tailwind)
Strong opinions about component architecture, performance, and maintainability
A portfolio or body of work demonstrating technical depth and design sensibility
Proven experience building and maintaining design systems in production
Familiarity with tools like Base UI, Storybook, and Figma Code Connect is a plus
Exposure to microfrontend architectures, Vite, and composition APIs is a bonus
Track record of building internal tools, developer experience improvements, or workflow automation
Fluency with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools
Familiarity with MCPs and how tools like Figma, Figma Console, and Notion connect into AI-assisted workflows

Own the integrity of the design system across Figma and code, including React components, tokens, and patterns.
Ensure the Figma design system library stays in sync with production, making design-level tweaks and partnering with product designers.
Close the gap between design specs and production reality, making it smaller over time.
Ensure UI quality across the product, focusing on transitions, micro-interactions, responsive behavior, loading states, edge case UI, and accessibility.
Build tools and processes to improve collaboration, prototyping, and shipping for design and engineering teams.
Develop production-ready code for design system components, UI improvements, or internal tooling.
Partner closely with product designers to make experience strategy real at the highest level of craft.
Work directly with frontend and full-stack engineers to establish patterns, review UI implementations, and raise code standards.
