Requirements
- 6–10+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering roles.
- Prior experience managing or leading small-to-mid-sized engineering teams with full performance cycles.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud-native systems including Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
- Proven ability to define and own infrastructure or SRE roadmaps and execute independently.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, distributed environments with a strong ownership mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead and own the end-to-end Site Reliability Engineering roadmap, defining priorities, driving execution, and ensuring measurable impact across the organization.
- Act as the primary infrastructure and reliability voice for your business unit, aligning product roadmaps with platform capabilities and advocating upstream needs.
- Drive operational excellence across compliance, security, and infrastructure risk management, proactively identifying and resolving issues before escalation.
- Improve developer experience by identifying friction points and leading initiatives that enhance productivity and system reliability.
- Participate in architectural and technical discussions, bringing deep SRE expertise and ensuring decisions are implemented effectively.
- Lead a small SRE team (4–6 engineers), supporting performance management, career development, and team growth.
