Job Details

4+ years of professional software engineering experience in production environments
Proven experience operating at a mid-senior or senior IC level with ownership of feature delivery
Strong backend proficiency in PHP (Laravel/Lumen) or Python
Comfortable contributing across the stack, including JavaScript-based frontend work
Experience building and maintaining API-driven systems
Solid experience working with relational databases
Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments such as AWS
Familiarity with containerized applications and CI/CD workflows
Able to independently move defined features from ready-for-development to deployed production systems
Strong collaborator who works effectively with Product and cross-functional teams
Comfortable operating in a distributed team across time zones
Open to leveraging AI-assisted development tools
Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications that support our internal platform
Own delivery of features from technical design through deployment and post-release support
Collaborate closely with Product Managers to clarify requirements and design pragmatic technical solutions
Build and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel/Lumen) or Python
Contribute to frontend functionality using JavaScript where needed
Develop APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Work within AWS-based infrastructure and Git-based deployment workflows
Participate in structured code reviews and uphold engineering quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues when they arise
Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and quality
