Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 5+ years experience in event planning and management, preferably in exhibitions and trade shows
- Experience measuring event ROI as it relates to lead generation, pipeline creation, MQLs
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in budget planning and expense management
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in event management software and tools
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Willingness to travel frequently within the USA and occasionally to EMEA regions
- Knowledge and experience of the events industry trends and best practices
Responsibilities
- Evaluate Event Relevance and ROI, recommending participation based on strategic objectives and target audience, and creating events to contribute to sales pipeline (MQL/SQO)
- Plan and manage all aspects of events, including scheduling, budgeting, staffing, travel planning, logistics, briefing internal team members, and promotion
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, booth setup, speakers, equipment, signage, and transportation
- Oversee the design of trade show booths, graphics, and promotional materials
- Manage documentation processing, contracts, and agreements with event organizers and vendors, collaborating with Communications, Analyst Relations, and Demand Generation teams for promotion and thought leadership
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade show organizers, vendors, partners, local Sales/Marketing teams, and central Demand Generation team
- Schedule and coordinate employee and customer travel, including logistics, accommodations, itineraries, and on-site meeting/staffing scheduling
- Plan event budgets, monitor expenses, adhere to budgets, update records, and track expenditures
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement
- Obtain, review, clean, upload, and track lead lists, results, and attendee engagement, and prepare comprehensive reports
- Coordinate the ordering and distribution of branded event merchandise and promotional materials for trade shows
