Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in strategic communications
- Strong track record of leading multi-channel campaigns
- Advising senior leaders experience
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of external communications projects
- Overseeing multi-channel campaigns, including for federal clients
- Experience in a shared services or consulting environment
- Experience identifying and cultivating partnerships to support business development efforts
- Exceptional business development strategy and proposal development skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional writing and editing skills across technical, creative, and promotional formats
- Expertise in social media strategy, analytics, and platform management
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Drupal, and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of public health communications projects that serve a range of clients.
- Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary communications team, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and high‑quality deliverables across projects.
- Lead business development strategy and execution for communications work in existing and emerging markets.
- Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations and subject matter experts to maximize the impact and reach of our public health communications work.
