Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Healthcare, or related field
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong SQL skills with experience working on large-scale healthcare datasets
- Hands-on experience with medical and pharmacy claims data, including cost and utilization analysis
- Knowledge of healthcare actuarial and risk adjustment concepts (e.g., HCC, RAF, population stratification)
- Familiarity with healthcare coding and standards (ICD-10, CPT, DRG) and quality frameworks (HEDIS, CMS, NCQA)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytical findings for diverse stakeholders
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and experience validating data quality and assumptions
Responsibilities
- Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into clear analytical tasks and reporting solutions
- Develop advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large healthcare datasets
- Analyze claims, EMR, pharmacy, and lab data to support population health, cost, and utilization insights
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track provider performance and patient outcomes
- Support clinical and operational teams with data-driven insights for care optimization and program evaluation
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple healthcare data sources
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
