Requirements
- Deep understanding of modern web applications
- Experience building Typescript/Javascript applications
- Experience using NoSQL databases
- Experience using Python
- Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture
- Experience using AWS (Serverless) and/or GCP
- Understand the importance of driving quality into code through test automation
- Demonstrable experience of good observability practices within a full stack environment (e.g., Rum, Tracing)
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with strong engineering practices
- Care about the product life cycle and are customer value focused
- Understand the value of continuous, iterative improvement using data to drive decisions and a culture of feedback
- Passion for software development with an appetite for learning and self-improvement
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional, stream-aligned team
- Plan, build, and support software using agile practices and a product mindset
- Collaborate with teams outside of product engineering and understand customer needs
- Work with major cloud providers: AWS, GCP & Azure
- Have intimate knowledge of products from code commit to production operation with a "You Build It, You Run It" mindset
- Support production systems using monitoring tools such as Datadog
- Strive for stable systems observability
- Champion principles, fuel a growth mindset, and improve engineering culture
- Question the status quo and ensure high value and impact for users
