Requirements
- Professional WordPress development experience with strong knowledge of themes, child themes, plugins, and custom post types
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and basic-to-intermediate PHP and JavaScript
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, Gutenberg) plus the ability to go beyond them when needed
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple client sites or a portfolio of WordPress properties
- Strong attention to detail with a consistent habit of self-QA before handoff
- Clear, professional written and spoken English
- Prior remote work experience
- Fluent with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar)
- Ideally worked with US or UK-based companies
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume ticketed inbox of website requests including content updates, layout changes, landing pages, and minor feature additions
- Implement WordPress changes including theme and template adjustments, custom CSS/HTML edits, and basic-to-intermediate PHP and JavaScript modifications
- Perform thorough quality control on every change: test across devices and browsers, verify links, forms, menus, and interactive elements
- Draft clear, professional client-facing summaries of completed work for internal review prior to delivery
- Collaborate with internal developers and account managers to clarify requirements and resolve edge cases
- Proactively flag technical risks, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve or standardize templates and processes
- Maintain clean, secure, and well-organized code and site structure across the portfolio
