Requirements
- 1-2 years of concentrated WordPress experience (NOT WORDPRESS.COM) using child themes
- Intermediate skills in HTML
- Intermediate skills in CSS
- Intermediate skills in WordPress
- Intermediate skills in PHP
- Intermediate skills in JavaScript
- Problem-solver – able to find answers if not known
- Knowledge of mobile responsive and cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Comfortable with WHM/cPanel operation
- An eye for design and finding the best images
- Ability to troubleshoot basic WP problems
- Ability to set up a local environment for development and testing
- Very good internet connection, computer, and phone
- Prefer WPBakery, Divi, Total, or Elementor Theme experience
- Prefer Backup / Deployment of sites experience
- Prefer Site transfer experience
- Prefer Graphics skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Prefer SEO experience (keywords, headings, sitemap)
- Prefer Troubleshooting hosting issues (site speed, SSL, mail delivery, PHP updates, server settings)
Responsibilities
- Handle front-end WordPress website development and modifications for client base
- Create landing pages for lead generation
- Communicate with peers and clients (verbal and written)
- Troubleshoot basic WP problems (white screens et al)
- Coordinate site updates and resolve problems with customers
