Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a data scientist or data analyst, preferably in a product-focused role
- Advanced SQL
- Data modelling
- Data visualisation tools
- Understanding of the fundamentals of statistics and probability
- Experience in conducting large-scale A/B tests
- Experience working cross functionally with product and operation teams
- Experience working within the fintech and/or crypto space is preferred
- Versatility and willingness to learn new technologies on the job and adapt quickly to changing priorities within a very dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide insights and recommendations based on a deep understanding of MoonPay flows
- Identify and drive new opportunities for product improvements & enhanced customer safety
- Work closely with the product teams and business stakeholders to review product performance and deliver data driven strategies for increased product performance
- Define KPIs, design tracking and set up monitoring for new product launches & changes
- Oversee and implement A/B tests and other experiments to drive forward optimization efforts
- Design, build and scale both internal and external data products, which drive informed decision making, examples include: dashboards, reports, data models, algorithms, integrations into other product lines
- Communicate complex concepts and findings to technical and non-technical audiences across different teams, while ensuring clarity and understanding to drive critical business decisions
