Requirements

  • Extensive experience in product management
  • Experience within CPQ, product catalogue, pricing, or quoting platforms
  • Strong background in complex, configurable product environments (energy, telecoms, insurance, financial services)
  • Proven experience defining product strategy across multiple markets or geographies
  • Experience with localisation in regulated industries
  • Deep understanding of CPQ principles including pricing rules, eligibility logic, bundling, product modelling, and quote lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated ability to use data, experimentation, and AI-driven insights to inform product decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience influencing senior leadership and engaging directly with customers
  • Experience mentoring or coaching product teams and contributing to product practice maturity
  • Comfortable working with technical concepts such as APIs, data models, and pricing engines
  • Nice to have: experience in the energy or utilities sector
  • Nice to have: exposure to external industry forums or customer advisory groups

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Energy Products & Quoting, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and international expansion goals.
  • Lead the evolution of product modelling and quoting capabilities to support modern energy offerings, including dynamic tariffs, multi-rate structures, export billing, and bundled propositions.
  • Champion the integration of AI across product workflows, enabling intelligent configuration, pricing optimisation, and enhanced catalogue management.
  • Drive international scalability by ensuring product structures can be localised and adapted to multiple regulatory and market environments without bespoke development.
  • Use data, customer insight, and market intelligence to validate strategy, challenge assumptions, and guide prioritisation decisions.
  • Contribute to commercial analysis and business cases, supporting make vs buy and investment decisions based on measurable value.
  • Mentor and coach product managers while contributing to broader product capability development across the organisation.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and customers to align on product direction and manage expectations across the lifecycle.
