Requirements
- Know React inside and out (Next.js or Remix experience is great)
- Tailwind CSS wizard and understand browser support quirks
- Have a portfolio, Twitter, or Dribbble that proves you can build beautiful things and articulate why one design works better than another
- Natural bias for the user experience and care about how programming results in great, lovable products
- Track record of shipping fast without breaking the world
- Comfortable stepping into the backend with tools like Claude/Codex
- Able to justify design decisions and make suggestions to prevent frustration
Responsibilities
- Polishing the Diamond: identify and fix small UX papercuts
- Building Complex UI Components: build custom Taxonomic filters, sophisticated Date-Time pickers, and expand the new component library
- Create a Design system
- Shipping with AI: use AI tools to augment workflow, step into the backend when needed, or automate mundane tasks
- Iterating Quickly: live in a tight feedback loop, prioritizing the user experience above all else
