Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally including a mix of public accounting and industry experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience supporting financial reporting and close processes
- Experience working in a SaaS or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Familiarity with ERP and financial systems such as NetSuite and other modern accounting tools
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI, automation, or advanced technologies to improve accounting efficiency and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
- Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and adapt in a dynamic and evolving environment
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, IT, Tax, Legal, HR, and Payroll to gather data and support operational and reporting needs.
- Assist in improving financial reporting accuracy, transparency, and compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and modern tools to improve accounting workflows and close cycle efficiency.
- Support the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assist with external audit preparation and provide documentation and support during audit cycles and reviews.
- Contribute to ad hoc analysis, process improvement initiatives, and special accounting projects.
