Requirements

  • Proven track record in Business Development within the EMS sector
  • Proven track record in Business Development within the Aftermarket Services sectors
  • Experience in a "hunter" type role
  • Ability to "kick down doors" and open new market opportunities
  • Industry contacts to rapidly accelerate market progress

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure revenue in support of Plexus growth goals
  • Develop plans to sell solutions to business development targets based on SRV insights
  • Serve as the direct link from SRV to sector or regional accounts
  • Utilize strategic selling techniques to gain business from assigned target accounts that fit the Plexus customer profile
  • Prospect and cold-call select targets to qualify accounts and find profitable business opportunities that fit the Plexus strategy
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current and potential customers, including their products, funding, and future manufacturing strategies
  • Partner with Plexus engineering and manufacturing teams to translate customer needs into end-to-end solutions across our entire Product Realization Value Chain
  • Develop multi-level relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders to advocate for necessary capabilities
  • Leverage market sector knowledge and research to execute the overall sector marketing strategy in coordination with regional and global leadership
