Strong academic credentials with excellent research and writing skills
Experience with case management
Experience drafting pleadings
Experience drafting coverage opinions
Experience handling motions and depositions
Admitted and in good standing in California
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage deadlines
Ability to communicate proactively in a remote environment

Responsibilities

Support insurance coverage and/or defense matters, including bad faith claims, on a project or ongoing basis
Draft and review coverage opinions, pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
Take and defend depositions as assigned, including experts and key parties
Provide litigation and trial support, including research, strategy input, witness preparation, and drafting
Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategy and deliver practical solutions
Communicate directly with the firm's attorneys and, where appropriate, clients to provide updates and strategic guidance
